A creature in itself, ready to walk away! This three legged sphere is handbuilt in black stoneware with surface texture of porcelain and black stoneware. Growing from the surface are colourful blooms and spines created from parian.
 
Parian is a type of porcelain that imitates marble. It was developed in the mid-1800's by the staffordshire pottery manufacturere Minton and is often used in victorian sculptures and dolls and can be found in solid and slip form.
